Week 11: Adding videos to our Google Classroom

 This week session was about the usefulness of adding videos to our classroom.

1. How helpful are videos in your teaching and learning?

Videos will help students to engage more in their studies. Youngsters tend to be more motivated and be more accessible as the may discuss more about they liked or not about the videos.

It is also a good way for teachers to encourage active learning in class.

Videos can also help the students and the educator to have a good relationship even if they are not in the same room (particularly if they are not in the same room😂)

For my Google Classroom I have used videos mainly for those who are not used to the English Language. For Example in the Topic Punctuation I have posted the materials then the questions or assignment to conclude with a video for each classwork; 

1. How to use Apostrophe

This videos explain how to use Apostrophe in a simple way. It targets any grades as it is clear and easy to understand. It's duration is 3:13 mins only.

2. How to use question marks

This 12:30 mins videos and explains how to use Question marks. In this video  the students will learn all he/she have to learn about English punctuation. the slides are rather clear for the students to understand.

3. Capital Letters and Full stops

This video is about 5:20 mins and explain how to use full stop and capital letters. The Video is accompanied with visual explanation shown and said by a clear voice. It will help the students to both read and listen. In all the videos clear examples are given, so the teachers' role is lighter.

These are simple instructions that will help the students to write better sentences , improve their level of English  etc...
